Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Vera, an online practice platform for AWS certification exams. By using Vera, with or without an account, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use Vera.
1. What Vera is, and is not
- Vera is an independent study tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Amazon Web Services, Inc. or its affiliates. AWS and related names are trademarks of Amazon.com, Inc. or its affiliates and are used only to describe the exams Vera helps you prepare for.
- Practice questions are written for study purposes and are not questions from real AWS exams. Practice scores are estimates and do not predict or guarantee the result of any official exam.
- Exam formats, timings and content outlines are based on publicly available information and may differ from the current official exam. Always check the official AWS exam guide.
2. Your account
- You may use Vera as a guest or create an account. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
- Keep your sign-in details secure and don’t share your account. You are responsible for activity under your account. Tell us promptly at privacy@skillcred.com.ng if you think it has been compromised.
- Give accurate information when you sign up, and keep your email address up to date so you can reset your password.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Copy, scrape, download in bulk, republish, sell or otherwise redistribute Vera’s questions, explanations or other content.
- Use bots, scripts or other automated means to access Vera, except normal use of a web browser.
- Attempt to break, overload, or get around the security or rate limits of Vera, or access other users’ data.
- Use Vera for anything unlawful, or to submit content that is harmful or infringes others’ rights.
4. Content and intellectual property
Vera’s questions, explanations, software and design are owned by Vera or its licensors and are protected by copyright and other laws. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use them for your own study while you use Vera. Your exam answers and results belong to you; you allow us to store and process them to provide the service, as described in our Privacy Policy.
If you think a question is wrong or unclear, please let us know at privacy@skillcred.com.ng. We review reports and correct or retire questions where needed.
5. Availability and changes
We work to keep Vera available and accurate, but we may change, suspend or discontinue any part of it, and we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may add paid features in future; if we do, we will tell you about any charges before you incur them.
6. Ending your use
You can stop using Vera at any time and ask us to delete your account by emailing privacy@skillcred.com.ng. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or put Vera or other users at risk.
7. Disclaimer
Vera is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Study content may contain mistakes or become out of date as AWS services change.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Vera will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for any loss of data, opportunity, or exam fees, arising from your use of Vera. Our total liability for any claim relating to Vera is limited to the amount you paid us, if any, in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. If you live elsewhere, you also keep any consumer protections that the laws of your country give you.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will change the “last updated” date above and, for significant changes, tell signed-in users in the app or by email. Continuing to use Vera after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
